Meet the Presenter
Daniel Carlin, M.D., is a recognized leader in the field of telemedicine and use of the latest digital technologies to provide personal health protection and management. As the founder and CEO of World Clinic, he pioneered an innovative “concierge telemedicine” model, leveraging insights from his decade of experience as a U.S. Navy Chief Medical Officer and as a refugee camp physician. Trained in surgery and emergency medicine, Dr. Carlin is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and holds a consultant-staff appointment at Lahey Clinic and Medical Center in suburban Boston.
A frequent speaker to both medical and international developing audiences, Dr. Carlin has been featured in Business Week, Forbes, Fortune, FT, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Worth, and has appeared on The Today Show, Dateline NBC, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He is also a co-author of The World of Concierge Medicine.
